Corey Worthington's 15 minutes of fame, the unrepentant Melbourne party boy has entered the Big Brother house.

Corey entered the TV show's Gold Coast compound just before nine tonight (AEST), where he told the other contestants he was a ``house guest'' for about 10 days.

Moments earlier, he was cheered - and booed - as he walked onto the Big Brother stage wearing his trademark oversized yellow sunglasses.

He admitted to Big Brother comperes Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O that he was ``pretty nervous''.

``I thought it would be a good opportunity to go in and um, show people how I'm really like, and stuff like that,'' he said when asked why he was taking part in the reality program.
``I'm a normal 17-year-old kid, I just like parties and everything like that.''
Corey also said he ``sorta no, sorta yeah'' had a girlfriend outside the house and he was otherwise ``just looking for fun''.

Girl's party leaves dog in coma

A BRITISH teenager has made Corey Worthington look like an amateur after her internet advertised party got so out of hand her dog was comatose and her house completely trashed.

15-year-old Gemma Anscomb told her parents she was having a few friends around for a video night. But instead she had advertised a party on social networking site Bebo and invited everyone she knew.

When Robert and Julia Anscomb arrived home the next day they found their dog Bailey unconscious. He had overdosed on ecstasy tablets. Their dining room floor was covered in four inches of beer, their lap-tops, iPods and jewellery had been stolen and they found handcauffs and underwear in their eight-year-old daughter's bedroom.

Mrs Anscomb told the Daily Mail : "We found underwear between the sheets and a pair of handcuffs." "What were they thinking? This is a little girl's room."

In her own bedroom the scene was little different. The walls were covered in black marks and there was evidence of group sex.

Corey Copycat Parties

On Saturday, more than 500 gatecrashers showed up at Ben Bauer's 16th birthday party party in Peridot St, Bayview Heights.

The out-of-control party resulted in eight police cars and the dog squad breaking up the festivities after the door of a van was allegedly kicked in and a lawnmower was allegedly stolen.

At the same time, a party in the southern Adelaide suburb of Seacliff Park led to three teenagers being arrested and four police cars being attacked, AdelaideNow reported.

About 100 teenage gatecrashers turned up, leading to the police helicopter being called in after some of them "became aggressive" to officers, a police spokeswoman said.

Dr Carr-Gregg said the two parties were similar to the one thrown by Corey, also known as Corey Delaney, in the Melbourne suburb of Narre Warren last month, with word spreading by text message.

Corey to get Wikipedia entry

MELBOURNE teenager Corey Worthington, also known by the surname Delaney, is set to finally get his own page on Wikipedia after an earlier entry was vetoed by users.

A heated debate among the website's contributors over whether or not the 16-year-old party boy deserved his own entry in the user-generated encyclopedia took place last month.

The majority of users who voted argued that the Melbourne teenager was notable only in connection to an event of short-term interest, and thus unsuitable for an entry.

The debate was reignited on Sunday when another page for Corey was made and subsequently nominated for deletion – but this time around, the Corey supporters look set to keep it online.

Another party from hell

JESSICA JOHNSTON

PEOPLE were bashed, bottles were hurled and police cars vandalised when hundreds of gatecrashers spoiled a birthday party in Mysterton. Party host Nick Rockett was forced to call police after hundreds of uninvited guests turned up to his 19th birthday party on Saturday night.

More than 400 people rioted in the usually sleepy suburb after trouble spilled out of the Ballard St yard about 10pm.

Mr Rockett said he had invited a small group of mates to help celebrate his birthday – but hundreds of youths turned up after someone posted the party address on the internet.

"It just kept getting bigger and bigger," Mr Rockett said.

"I didn't want it to be an open house, but they just kept coming. It was out of control."

Mr Rockett said five of his mates, including three women, were assaulted as they tried to keep uninvited guests out.

Corey attack video possibly staged

Victorian police officers are examining video footage of the alleged bashing of 16-year-old party boy Corey Worthington amid claims the attack may have been staged.

Corey became an international figure after his unapologetic response to holding a party at his home last month that descended into a rolling riot that police had to quell.

He is now believed to have reconciled with his parents and is being represented by celebrity agent Max Markson, amid reports he is being paid to go on a world tour as a party promoter and DJ.http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/police-investigate-corey-attack-videoprobe/2008/02/01/1201800988734.html
